Maths and Business
Year 5 were Entrepreneurs this week by setting up and selling their items from their own shop. Each learner developed, designed and sold their own supplies to enhance their addition and subtraction skills in a real-life situation.
Additional skills learnt through this process were communication skills, self-management skills, thinking skills and social skills. Y5 did a great job! Thank you to all the parents, teachers and other learners who took part in our entrepreneurial role-play.
Set up included communication and thinking skills to make sure everyone was in a spot they liked and their stall had everything they wanted.
K1 came by to make some purchases.
Y3 showed a keen interest in electronics.

On Thursday we visited Muang Udon Muslim Mosque.
The children were all given some cake and milk before we took a final photograph. The field trip was an opportunity to visit a mosque. The children were able to identify. similarities and differences between their own faith (if any) and the Muslim faith. For many, it was their first ever visit to a mosque.
Our assembly this week was all about keeping safe. Phee helped with the assembly. We learned a fun song that will help to keep us safe.
Here is a very special song with an important message about being safe. Do encourage your child to watch. The lyrics describe an important message which we need to share with all children.
