The move is starting. Our old classroom is all packed up and we are preparing to move into the new PY building next week and will begin making preparations for when school reopens
It has been really helpful talking with most parents over the last week. I hope you now have a clearer understanding of your child's learning at UDIS. Do remember parents may ask us questions at any time and there is no such thing as a silly question

We are almost there! Y5 learners, you should be proud of yourselves as this is the first time at UDIS that we have ever had online learning. You are apart of a new learning experience and all teachers and staff appreciate your efforts and stamina to complete this term all while being away from campus. I know some days have been easier than others but I'm very proud to have been your maths teacher this year to see how much you have learned and progressed with your independent thinking.
Maths this week focused on updating portfolios to represent 2 of the maths concepts covered this term. Each learner took the time to add evidence of their learning and give examples of that particular objective. As Kahoot is a favourite pastime for our learners during our maths open session, we played a review game.
Next week, all learners voted to be together and not have separate groups since it is our last week of school. So Tuesday and Thursday's maths sessions will be from 9 -10 with everyone attending at the same time. It will be a great way to come together as a whole group and have some fun together.
