Maths this week was designed to use their skills learnt last week and prior experiences to consolidate their thinking. Learners were able to show their knowledge through their assessment, parent open morning on Wednesday and individual flipbooks.

Next week, Y5 will be tuning into measurement by learning how to use measurement tools, using correct mathematical vocabulary associated with measurement and completing hands-on activities to actively engage their minds.

If you are able, please send in measuring cups and spoons. We would need them for two weeks before being sent back home.
Flipbooks were made to show individual growth and understanding of fractions.
