Week beginning 23rd 2020


Well done Year Five! We have made it through our first week of online learning. It will get easier. Do remember to join your small group meetings with Mr John on Mon/Wed/Fri and Ms Emmi on Tue/Thu. Calendar. When starting an activity, do remember to read the instructions carefully at least 3 times. It may explain how to set out your work. Do join the optional 11.00 meeting with me if you need any help. We are here to support you with your learning

Do try to upscale your sentences just like we did during our Friday group meetings.

Maths standards next week will be 
  • I can identify multiples and factors, including finding all factor pairs of a number, and common factors of two numbers.

This week we focused on various types of word problems throughout the week. Each learner worked on daily word problems and created their own word problems to share with their friends via Flipgrid https://flipgrid.com/0f4d1f71 check these out if you have an account.
