Week Beginning 30th March 2020

Dear Children and Parents,

We have now reached the end of term 2. It has certainly been a very challenging time but your children are adapting well to online learning.Whilst we would prefer to be at school safety has to be our prime concern until we are certain of a safe return to school.

Online learning is now suspended for two weeks. Children may wish to take some time to complete any activities that they might have missed. If there are any questions the children can message me and I will get back to them when I can.

Below are some suggestions for virtual tours to places around the world which I think children may find interesting. I have also added a list of non-computer based activities that can be carried out if children are looking for something to do.

ถึงนักเรียนและผู้ปกครอง ตอนนี้การเรียนการสอนเทอมที่ 2 กำลังสิ้นสุดลงและมันเป็นช่วงเวลาที่ท้าทายมาก แต่บุตรหลานของท่านก็ปรับตัวเข้ากับการเรียนรู้ออนไลน์ได้ดีในขณะที่เราต้องการแน่ใจถึงความปลอดภัยในโรงเรียน และนี้จะเป็นข้อกังวลหลักของเราจนกว่าเราจะแน่ใจว่าทุกคนจะกลับมาโรงเรียนอย่างปลอดภัย

ส่วนด้านล่างนี้เป็นสถานที่ที่แนะนำสำหรับทัวร์เสมือนจริงเพื่อไปยังสถานที่ต่างๆทั่วโลกซึ่งผมคิดว่าเด็ก ๆ อาจสนใจ นอกจากนี้ผมยังได้เพิ่มรายการกิจกรรมต่างๆที่ไม่ต้องใช้คอมพิวเตอร์ซึ่งถ้าเด็กๆต้องการหาอะไรทำในเวลาว่างก็สามารถทำกิจกรรมเหล่านี้ได้

Yellowstone National Park Virtual Field Trip		Mud Volcano, Mammoth Hot Springs, and so much more.  Tour Yellowstone National Park!
MARS!!!		Explore the surface of Mars on the Curiosity Rover.  They are updating from WEBVR to WEBXR now, but 360 Mode offers a digital view!

Virtual Farm  Tour		This Canadian site FarmFood 360 offers  11 Virtual Tours of farms from minks, pigs, and cows, to apples and eggs.
U.S. Space and Rocket Museum in Huntsville, AL		See the Saturn 5 Rocket on YouTube and more on this tour thanks to a real father/son outing.
Discovery Education Virtual Field Trips		A few of the field trip topics include  Polar Bears and the Tundra  Social Emotional Skills  STEM  manufacturing
The Louvre		Travel to Paris, France to see amazing works of art at The Louvre with this virtual field trip.
The Great Wall of China		This Virtual Tour of the Great Wall of China is beautiful and makes history come to life.
Boston Children’s Museum		Walk through the Boston Children’s Museum thanks to Google Maps!  This virtual tour allows kids to explore 3 floors of fun.
